Jason J. R. Gaskell is now a full-time freelance writer from Wigan, England - but it took a while to get there. After graduating from the University of Teesside with a BSc in Sociology, Jason spent a year working in a popular UK bank before deciding to volunteer for three months in Nigeria. After that, he got an MSc in Sociology at the University of Salford in Manchester, before departing to teach English in South Korea. After seven years of teaching in Korea and doing freelance writing projects on a part-time basis, Jason was finally able to make freelance writing a full-time occupation. He now lives back in Wigan in the UK with his Korean common-law wife and a constant stash of kimchi. In addition to writing for various publishing companies, editing firms, and blogs, he also trades the foreign exchange markets and does a daily commentary of his trades on a popular blog site.
